Parameters:

bytes - the byte array to decode

Returns:

a boolean

Throws:

NullPointerException - if the bytes is null

IllegalArgumentException - if the bytes.length is different from 1

toShort

public static short toShort(byte[] bytes)

Decodes a byte array to a short.

Parameters:

bytes - the byte array to decode

Returns:

a short

Throws:

NullPointerException - if the bytes is null

IllegalArgumentException - if the bytes.length is different from Short.BYTES

toChar

Decodes a byte array to a char.

Parameters:
